Ogner House
location: Romania, Sura Mare
The ambition of this project was to offer the client, as he wished a small
house (120sqm) with big spaces. This was possible by creating large spaces
for the important functions of the house (living-room, dining-room, kitchen
and bed-rooms) and to reduce to maximum the circulations. So the result was
to give the circulation a square of 1,20 m by 1,20 m, the minimum necessary
between the spaces. This way we create a tension between the spaces and a
dynamic perception in the same time. From outside, the corners of the house,
become axes of symmetry for the façade.
